Another beautifully photographed and narrated book by Ms. Kelley and her husband, photographer Tom Street-Porter. I have three of their books and this one is a nice edition to,the collection.
Beautiful photography encompassing many unique styles.
I love the area, love the architecture and love the people. But I thought this book was somewhat 'ok'....was looking for more excitement but this is just my opinion....
Quite disappointed. I was anxiously waiting for the book. I have a house in Merida and I have visited really amazing houses worth to be included in the book. Indeed two of them were included in the book. The photos did not honor the houses. Great idea with poor results.
More needed to impress me.Don't get me wrong. I love owning the book and there are some really beautiful ideas.
